Details on how to join USOSA in Lagos (UIL)
The primary platform for USOSANs in Lagos (UIL) is our WhatsApp groups. We have 2 main WhatsApp groups (you can only belong to one of them at a time) and 6 zonal (residential area) WhatsApp groups. You will need to belong to one of the main WhatsApp groups before you can be added to the Zonal WhatsApp group.
To join 1 of the 2 main WhatsApp groups:
- A member of your school's Exco forwards your name and number to a member of the UIL Leadership Team.
- The UIL Leadership Team member adds your number to one of the 2 main WhatsApp groups.
- On joining, you introduce yourself.
To join the Zonal (residential area) WhatsApp groups:
- A member fills the UIL Zonal Registration Form, which is available from within one of the main WhatsApp groups.
- The member's details (along with those of other new registrants) are sent to the Team Leads of the respective zones.
- The Team Leads add the members that fall within their respective zones to their zonal WhatsApp group.
- On joining, the member introduces himself/herself.
